About the role

Cannings Outdoor Power Equipment is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our friendly team in Mount Waverley, VIC. In this key customer-facing role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

What you'll be doing

1. Handling inbound customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in-person interactions

2. Providing accurate product information and assisting customers with purchases, returns, and troubleshooting

3. Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner

4. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes and procedures

5. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the outdoor power equipment or arboriculture industries

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve customer inquiries effectively

3. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle a variety of customer situations

4. Proficient in using technology, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems

5. A passionate, customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service

6. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
