The Notch Big Shot Trigger is designed to improve control, safety and consistency when launching throw bags and setting lines with a Big Shot.

Featuring an integrated safety latch and adjustable mounting position, the Trigger allows arborists to control launch force while keeping the system secured and ready to fire. It is compatible with all 31.75 mm (1.25”) round utility-grade fibreglass poles.

Installation and adjustment

The Trigger installs directly onto your fibreglass pole using the clamp mechanism. Position it at your preferred height and tighten securely.

Launch force can be adjusted by loosening the clamp and repositioning the Trigger along the pole. Once set, place the throw weight in the pouch, pull it down to engage the latch, and aim without holding the system under tension. When ready to deploy, disengage the safety and pull the trigger.

Important 

• Ensure the main trigger housing is securely closed before use. Tighten the bolt until both halves fully join together.

• Do not pull the Big Shot pouch below the trigger position.
