When the wood is hard, dead or thick, an anvil pruner earns its place. The Felco 31's straight blade is bevelled on both sides and closes onto an anvil, so it bites into tough wood where a bypass head can struggle.

Suits left and right-handed users. Cuts up to 25mm.

For green wood and clean finishing cuts, a bypass secateur like the Felco 2 is the better pick. Keep them cutting with the Felco 902 sharpening stone and Felco 910 leather holster.
