The KL121  Oval is a standard size oval karabiner with an effective working length of 85mm (3.4”).  Many industrial Oval Karabiners have an offset shape, in order to bias (offset) the load towards the spine (the strongest part of the karabiner), to achieve additional major axis strength.  The KL121 however is ideal when load centralisation, correct orientation and optimal loading are the top priorities, to enable balance in a system.

This Karabiner is ideal when balance and symmetry is required, as it is often by arborists when navigating through the canopy of a tree.
