The KH221 has a narrower spine than a traditional oval, so it rotates freely when connected to other elements in a system. Unlike a true oval, which shares load equally, its shape biases the load toward the spine.

Rated to 25kN at 86g. Available as a screwgate, a Supersafe triple-action auto-lock, or a Supersafe 3-pack in lemon and titanium. Made by ISC in North Wales.
