The ISC A-B Descender is the latest in descent device technlogy.The A-B is a DESCENDER designed specifically for Technical Rope Access and Intervention purposes by Police and Special Forces, who require a multi-use rope adjustment device that allow taking the load of two people for the purposes of rescue and with a Panic Grab Brake (PGB). In Technical Rope Access it must always be used in conjunction with a Type A device or an EN353-2 back-up device and safety line. The A-B is also ideal as a descent device for Arborists who are exiting the tree via a long rope descent.

Other design features include:

• Large Top Bobbin- improves rope retention for greater ease of use

• Extending Handle- for greater control when lowering heavy/two man loads

• Rope Latch- allows the user to remove the rope, without detatching from their Harness
